How did it happen?

Anyone know?

James Neal wasn't too injured to play wiffle ball yesterday.  Why is he "questionable" to play tomorrow?

Ah for christ sake.

Vokoun, Letang, Neal.

Who's on first?

This team has way to many injuries to the offensive players constantly every year.

And that also counts against the coaches.

It's a concussion from banging his head off the wall after hearing Bylsma say "Get to our game" one more time.

All Bylsma said, in a terse manner is "he left practice today early, no he didn't get injured today, he was just testing his injury".

But the day before he was healthy enough to play wiffle ball on ice after regular practice.  WTF?  Something is messed up here.

Playing wiffle ball, yet questionable to play in an actual game. That's the Pittsburgh Penguins country club we all know and love!

Tell me about it. I do not know how someone could possibly be able to handle the intense rigors of wiffle ball and yet not be able to handle a hockey game. This is like when I saw Pronger playing Wii Bowling. Obviously he is in perfect condition if he can handle that intensity and he should be on the ice.

Right now this team is tied for last place in the NHL. This isn't a time to be cautious and allow people to be fully healed before taking the ice. They should fight through the last few games remaining and heal in the off season. I think we all learned from Crosby that you cannot get a player back on the ice quickly enough.

Oh well, maybe next year will be the Pens year to make the playoffs.

I going to go head and blame Dan Blysma for the crazy amount of injuries for all the top offense players on this team. :D

I guess we can chalk it all up to caution to the power of 3.   Not about to take any chances early on, so... ,   or maybe it's just another way of preparing the Pen's fan base for the usual bunch of IR's, etc..   Oh boy.

Derrrrrr.

That's not the point.  The point is he probably injured himself goofing off during Disco's stupid "support the Pirates" stunt.

It was obvious to me as soon as I found out he'd been hurt.

I know, and now we have missed our window. By the time he is able to get back on the ice Malkin will be a shell of himself.

Seriously man, what's the explanation for how he got hurt then?

here is the timeline,

Neal practiced Tuesday.
After practice was wiffle ball on ice.
Wednesday they had practice, Neal left early.  Pens listed him as upper body injury day to day.  Then Bylsma was asked about it. He said, "He did not get injured today at practice, he was out there testing it & left early".

What other conclusion is there?

If Gus doesn't play tonight did you all get a look at the lines?

Chris Kunitz - Sidney Crosby - Pascal Dupuis
Joe Vitale - Malkin - Jussi Jokinen
Beau Bennett - Brandon Sutter - Chuck Kobasew
Tanner Glass - Dustin Jeffrey - Craig Adams

No joke. Danny B bringing the lulz already in game one.

Dat third line lolololololololol!

I watch a lot of chick flicks.
