Rob Rossi (I know not the most reliable source) Tweeted " Malkin NOT on IR. Was told Sunday that early indications had his lower body injury as minor and muscular related"

But then The Penguins official Twitter account tweeted this " Malkin (lower body, day-to-day)"

So he will miss a few games but I guess it's a "christmas present" as we dodged a bullet on this one!

Its his groin.

Maybe not serious but we have seen how groin injuries can linger and some times they lead to the player dying alive in Pittsburgh.

Groin injuries won't stop till someone is dead.

I watch a lot of chick flicks.

This is exactly what I would expect from a Russian in an Olympic year. If I wasn't waiting outside of the rink in Ottawa for autographs I would be pissed right now.

People are just going to keep injuring their groins until someone dies alive?

Speaking of which wouldn't it be great to see them do a dark tribute to MC when the WIld are in Pittsburgh here next week.   Cheap shots, nasty hits, etc..  I know, yea, right...

They should just loop the Savard hit for a few minutes. Boston hasn't had anything to cry about for a few days.

Do you know how far $11,000 gets you in a Florida dump?

Except Lucic getting beat up at a bar in Vancouver

There is no doubt that Fleury is the greatest goalie in this team's history and will be one of the best all time.
