I disagree, I think he'll compete for the 13th spot next season.

All things considered, my guess is the Penguins lose either Maatta or Schultz in the expansion draft. I'm guessing Maatta. I think the seven forwards we protect is going to be Crosby, Malkin, Kessel, Hornqvist, Sheary, Guentzel and Hagelin. I doubt the others are taken by Las Vegas.

So basically your top-six will probably consist of Sheary, Crosby, Hornqvist, Guentzel, Malkin and Kessel. The bottom-six will most likely be Hagelin, Bonino (or another third line center), Rust and Wilson. I think there's a chance Sprong makes the roster, same with Sundqvist. If Sprong does, I think Kuhnhackl is the 13th forward, if he doesn't, there's a very good chance Rowney does. He's good defensively, can play all three forward positions and can kill penalties. Seems like a good 13th forward.

Sheary and Guentzel are both expansion draft exempt.

Tell 'em Steve-Dave!

Grunt stole me.

I saw a lady throwing up blood on the side walk today in downtown... And I thought that was the worst thing I'd see all day and then this post happened.

Aren't they just expansion draft exempt?  Too many drafts in there.  Old people get chilly easy.

You'll have to forgive him. He does work for the Department of Redundancy Department.

I think it would be a mistake to move Guentzel off of the Crosby line.  Those two and Sheary have remarkable chemistry.  If that changes, sure, but not yet.

I agree, but I said the same thing about the Hagelin, Bonino and Kessel line.

As of right now, I'd keep them together. It depends on how they finish but yeah, I'd keep them together. I think Hornqvist, Hagelin or Rust would probably compete for the LW spot on the second line alongside Malkin and Kessel. My guess is it'd be Hagelin.

The third line (If Bonino is re-signed) would probably be Wilson, Bonino and Hornqvist. Which isn't a bad third line at all. I just worry about how the loss of Hagelin will affect that line. Wilson and Hornqvist aren't necessarily fast, but Hornqvist and Bonino seem to have a decent chemistry building right now, so I'd be fine with it. It also would provide a ton of depth to the bottom-six to have arguably our second best winger on the third line.

I'm guessing the fourth line would be a mixture of Kuhnhackl, Sundqvist and Rust. I personally like Rust in the bottom-six more than the top-six. I hope he can be more of a Bryan Bickell-type player for the Penguins. A bottom-six forward during the season, but a guy who picks up his game and is capable of playing in the top-six during the playoffs. I'd be fine with a Kuhnhackl, Sundqvist, Rust line.

That jagoff should get 10 games for that sh*t.  Probably will get more like 3 or 4.

For that s**t he should be suspended for the rest of the season plus a game for each day it takes Guentzel to recover.

He got suspended broh. Not as much as he should have got, but about what the NHL wheel predicted.

The NHL took mercy on him when they remembered he has to play in Buffalo.

A sterner punishment would have had him missing no games?
